Monitor GDS Data
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Connect GDS to DLC (Data Link Cable).
- Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
- Monitor "VSS" parameter on the "Current Data" with GDS.(ENG. Control)
- Monitor "WHEEL SPEED SENSOR" parameter on the "Current Data" with GDS.(ABS Control or ESC Control)

- Are the parameters displayed correctly? (Compare with the vehicle speed gauge.)
YES
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ECM connector or was repaired and ECM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- In case that the vehicle speed value from ABS module is different from vehicle speed at cluster: It is resulted from circuit problem not only between Wheel Speed Sensor (WSS) and ABS module but related component. Refer to ABS DTC C1203 ~ C1205. If the vehicle speed value from Engine Control Module is different from vehicle speed at cluster: It is resulted from circuit problem between Engine Control Module and ABS module. Go to "TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION " procedure.
