Component Inspection

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. IG "OFF".
  2. Disconnect fuel pump.
  3. Check for motor operating state by connecting battery power to fuel pump control (+) terminal and ground to fuel pump control (-) terminal. (Component side)
  4. Is the measured normal?

    YES 

    • Substitute with a known - good fuel filter and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace fuel filter and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
    • If problem is not fixed with replacing fuel filter, substitute with a known - good FPCM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace FPCM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO 

    • Substitute with a known - good fuel pump and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace fuel pump and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
