Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check
  1. Poor connection
  2. IATS
Case1 Enable Conditions
  • Following conditions continue for more than 8 sec.
  • Vehicle speed is higher than 30 mph
  • Air flow is between 24kg/h and 300kg/h
Threshold Value
  • Measured temperature is higher than 115°C (239°F)
Diagnostic Time
  • 2 sec
Case2 Enable Conditions
  • Number of following driving conditions for at least 14 sec is higher than 5 times
  • Vehicle speed is lower than 3 mph
  • Air flow is lower than 20kg/h
Threshold Value
  • The maximum temperature and minimum temperature difference value is lower than 59°F.
Diagnostic Time
  • Immediate
