MAPS Circuit Inspection

- IG KEY "OFF".
- Disconnect MAPS connector.
- IG KEY "ON" & ENG "OFF".
- Measure the voltage between signal, ground, power terminal of MAPS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification:
Signal Terminal: Approx. 5V
Ground Terminal: Approx. 0V
Power Terminal: Approx. 5V
- Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
