CMPS Circuit Inspection

- IG "OFF".
- Disconnect CMPS connector.
- IG "ON" & ENG "OFF".
- Measure the voltage between Power, Signal, Ground terminal of CMPS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification:
Power Terminal: Approx. 5V
Signal Terminal: Approx. 5V
Ground Terminal: Approx. 0V
- Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Go to "CKPS CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair Open or Short in CMPS circuit, and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
