Signal Circuit Inspection

IG "OFF".
Disconnect the Fuel Pressure Sensor (FPS) connector.
IG "ON".
Measure the voltage between the signal terminal of the FPS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 5 V
Is voltage within specification?
YES
- Go to "Ground Circuit Inspection" procedure below.
NO
- Repair open or short to ground in the power supply circuit and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
