DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Evaluate O2 sensor heater performance
  1. Related fuse blown or missing
  2. Heater control circuit open or short
  3. Power supply circuit open or short
  4. Poor connection or damaged harness
  5. Faulty HO2S
Enable Conditions
  • Upstream O2 sensor operative readiness detected (Sensor tip temperature is higher than 640°C (1, 184°F))
  • Battery voltage between 11 V and 16 V
  • Catalyst Diagnosis monitoring active
Threshold Value
  • Upstream O2 sensor tip temperature is lower than 680°C (1256°F)
Diagnostic Time
  • 20 sec.
Mil On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
