DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Coolant temp not reached warm up state
  1. Thermostat open stuck
  2. Poor connection or damaged harness
Enable Conditions
  • Fuel-cut off phase is less than 20%
  • Low load phase is less than 50%
  • Battery voltage between 11 V and 16 V
  • Intake air temperature decrease compared to Start Intake air temperature is greater than -10°C (-14°F)
  • Coolant temperature at start between -10°C (14°F) and 54.4°C (131°F)
Threshold Value
  • Measured coolant temp. is less than 74°C (165°F) When modeled coolant temp. is greater than 85°C (185°F)
Diagnosis Time
  • 10~30 min. depending on coolant temperature at start and driving pattern
Mil On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
