Signal Circuit Inspection

■ Check short to ground in harness

IG "OFF". Disconnect ETC Motor & TPS connector.
Measure resistance between TPS 1 signal terminal of ETC harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Infinite
Is resistance within specification?
YES
- Go to next step below.
NO
- Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

■ Check open in harness

IG "OFF". Disconnect ETC Motor & TPS connector and PCM connector.
Measure resistance between both ends of TPS 1 signal line.
Specification: Below 1 Ω
Is resistance within specification?
YES
- Go to next step below.
NO
- Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
