DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check
  1. Poor connection
  2. Short to power in signal circuit
  3. Open in ground circuit
  4. MAPS
Case 1 Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 10 V and 16 V
Threshold Value
  • Short to battery is detected
  • Sensor voltage greater than 4.85 V (302.9kPa)
Case 2 Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed during engine start higher than 640 to 960 RPM
  • Throttle opening less than 6 to 34%
Threshold Value
  • Sensor voltage greater than 4.35 V (374.6kPa)
  • Open circuit GND line
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
