DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Evaluate O2 sensor Element Temperature via measuring Element Resistance
  1. Heater control circuit open or short
  2. Power supply circuit open or short
  3. Poor connection or damaged harness
  4. Faulty HO2S
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 11 V and 16 V
  • Downstream O2 sensor operative readiness detected (sensor element resistance is lower than 1 kQ or heater max heating or normal heating for more than 75 sec)
Threshold Value
  • Downstream O2 sensor internal resistance is greater than 1000C
Diagnostic Time
  • 10 sec.
Mil On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
