Control Circuit Inspection

■ Check for short to battery in control circuit

IG "OFF".
Disconnect RCV Control connector and PCM connector.
IG "ON".
Measure voltage between control terminal of the RCV Control harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: 0 V
Is voltage within the specification?
YES
- Go to "Component Inspection" procedure below.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

■ Check for open in control circuit

IG "OFF".
Disconnect RCV Control connector and PCM connector.
Measure resistance between both side of control terminals of the RCV Control harness.
Specification: below 1 Ω
Is resistance within the specification?
YES
- Go to "Component Inspection" procedure below.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
