Control Circuit Inspection

IG "OFF".
Disconnect E-CVVT connector.
IG "ON" & Engine "OFF".
Measure voltage between control terminal of the E-CVVT harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification:

(+) terminal: Approx. 11 V

(-) terminal: Approx. 0.6 V
Is voltage within specification?
YES
- Go to "Component Inspection" procedure below.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
