DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical Check
  1. Open in control circuit
  2. Poor connection or damaged harness
  3. E-CVVT Assembly
Case 1 Enable Conditions
  • E-CVVT relay ON
  • E-CVVT control ON
  • Voltage after E-CVVT relay is between 10 V and 16 V
Threshold Value
  • Measured Current 0.5~ 1A with control duty above PWM 30%
Case 2 Enable Conditions
  • E-CVVT relay ON
  • E-CVVT control ON
  • Voltage after E-CVVT relay is between 10 V and 16 V
  • Power stage off delay time plus system delay time longer than 0.2 sec.
Threshold Value
  • Power stage of E-CVVT motor is OFF
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
