Monitor DTC Status
- Vehicle Parked & Ignition ON.
- Connect GDS and select "DTC Analysis" mode.
- Click "DTC Status" on the "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" menu bar to view DTC's information.
- If DTC Status is present fault, then go to the next procedure and if it is History fault, then clear DTC and check the same DTC reoccurs.
- Is parameter displayed "Present fault"?
YES
- Substitute with a known-good EPB Module and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace EPB Module (inside EPB ASS'Y) and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Perform actuation by EPB SW and check whether it is operating correctly.
NO
- This fault was repaired and EPB Module memory was not cleared. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
