Component Inspection

■ Check EPB Switch 

1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect EPB Switch.
3. Measure resistance between EPB Switch terminals.

   Specification:  Refer the specification

   Measure	EPB Switch	EPB Switch pushed	EPB Switch pulled
   M1	Measure SW1 & SW4	Connected	Not connected
   M2	Measure SW2 & SW3	Not connected	Connected

4. Is the measured Valule within specification?

   YES 

   • This fault may be intermittently caused by poor connection in the EPB switch. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
   • This DTC may be intermittently caused by an unusual operation of EPB switch. (Switch is controlled too much, pulled or pushed for 90 seconds or pulled/pushed slowly)

   NO 

   • Substitute with a known-good EPB Switch and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace EPB Switch and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
