Monitor Scantool Data
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Ignition "OFF", connect scantool.
- Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF", select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" mode.
- Monitor Diagnostic Trouble Code and present of trouble code.
- Using a scantool, clear the DTC.
- Is DTC present problem?
YES
- Go to "W/HARNESS INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Intermittent failure, system is OK at this moment. Do not change WCS (= Weight Classification System).
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the connector/wiring harness or was repaired and SRSCM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure and Go to "WCS RESET " procedure.
