General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Prevent control logic error caused by abnormal C-CAN Communication
  1. Poor Connector contact and quality
  2. Power line of C-CAN wiring is open/shorted
  3. Ground wiring of C-CAN is shorted
  4. The short between C-CAN LOW and CAN HIGH
  5. Input any noise to the wiring of C-CAN LOW or HIGH
  6. Faulty termination resistor
  7. The short/open between hybrid battery module and other controllers via C-CAN
  8. HPCU (MCU+HCU+LDC) fault
  9. PCM (EMS ECU+TCU Total) fault
  10. MDPS ECU fault
  11. VESS fault
  12. AAF fault
  13. EWP fault
  14. AHB fault
  15. CAMERA fault
  16. OPM fault
  17. FATC fault
  18. CLU fault
  19. ACU fault
  20. TPMS fault
  21. ESC fault
Detecting Method
  • Satisfied with C-CAN Bus OFF status for more than 1sec.
Enable Condition
  • in the IG ON status, 9V
Threshold Value
  • C-CAN Bus OFF
DTC Release Condition
  • C-CAN Recovery
Service Lamp ON Condition
  • In case of 2 time DC (Driving cycle: ST ON ~ IG OFF 2 time)
Service Lamp "OFF" Condition
  • In case of satisfying release condition
Safety Mode
  • Normal High voltage: Main relay ON
  • BMS available power: Power Directing
