DTC Description: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Airbag deployment signal monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection between BMS ECU and ACU
  2. Open or short to power in airbag deployment signal circuit
  3. ACU ECU
  4. BMS ECU
Detecting Method
  • Airbag deployment signal is high for 5 sec.
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Normal Auxiliary Battery
Threshold Value
  • In case power open or short of airbag deployment signal occurs (airbag deployment signal duty = 100%)
DTC Release Condition
  • If the airbag deployment signal is normal (0% < airbag deployment signal duty < 100%)
Service Lamp ON Condition
  • N/A (MIL Off)
Service Lamp "OFF" Condition
  • N/A (MIL Off)
Safety Mode
  • Normal High voltage: Main relay ON
