Monitor DTC Status
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Ignition ON (SSB LED "BLUE") & Vehicle "STOP".
- Connect GDS and select "DTC Analysis" mode.
- Click "DTC Status" on the menu bar to view DTC information.
- Confirm that the "DTC Readiness Flag" indicates "COMPLETED". If not, drive the vehicle within conditions noted in Freeze Frame Data or Enable Conditions.
- Read the "DTC Status" parameter.
- Is parameter displayed "Present Fault"?
YES
- Go to Next procedure.
NO
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or Control module's connector or was repaired and Control module's memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Monitoring with a DVOM on min/max or VMI while wiggling connectors may help find the problem. Any change in voltage indicate a possible problem. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
