General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
CASE1 DTC Strategy
  • Correlation Check
  1. Poor Connection
  2. Open or Short to battery in signal circuit
  3. Faulty Brake Switch
  4. Faulty Brake Lamp Switch
  5. Faulty Brake Stroke Sensor
  6. Faulty HCU
Enable conditions No brake pedal pressed condition
  • IG KEY ON
  • HCU READY ON
  • HEV READY
  • Aux, Battery Voltage is between 10V and 16V
  • PT Mode = Part Load
  • No CAN Communication Fault
Threshold value
  • No = False and Nc = False
Diagnosis Time
  • In case that Fault is for 5s continuously with 12times

  • 2 Driving Cycle
MIL On Condition
  • -
Service Lamp On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycle
CASE2 DTC Strategy
  • Correlation Check
Enable conditions The brake pedal pressed condition
  • IG KEY ON
  • HCU READY ON
  • HEV READY
  • Aux, Battery Voltage is between 10V and 16V
  • PT Mode = Part Load
  • No CAN Communication Fault
Threshold value
  • No = True and Nc = True
Diagnosis Time
  • In case that Fault is for 25s continuously with 12times

  • 2 Driving Cycle
