Power Circuit Inspection

■ Power Circuit Inspection 

1. IG Key "OFF".
2. Disconnect A. A. F connector.
3. IG "ON" & Engine "ON".
4. Measure voltage between terminal A. A. F harness connector and chassis ground.

   Specification  : less than 16 [V]

5. Is the measured voltage within specifications?

   YES 

   • Go to "GROUND CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.

   NO 

   • Thoroughly check fuse status, poor connection, power supply line, bending, corrosion, contamination and damage.

     Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

■ Ground Circuit Inspection 

1. IG Key "OFF".
2. Disconnect A. A. F connector.
3. Measure resistance between terminal A.A.F harness connector and chassis ground.

   Specification  : Approx. 0 Ω

4. Is the measured resistance within specifications?

   YES 

   • Substitute with a known-good A.A.F and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace A.A.F and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Check for open or contact resistance in ground harness.

     Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
