General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • A.A.F operating voltage detection MIL Lamp
  1. Stuck the A.A.F
  2. Damaged or not installed the linkage
Enable conditions
  • IG "ON"
Threshold value
  • the voltage is detected Over 4.9V, after IGN ON, when motor is driven to the direction of low feed back voltage for maximum 5 secs.
  • Failed when opening flap
  • Failed when closing flap
Diagnosis time
  • Within 5 secs after IGN ON
  • For 5 secs (Failed to open flap)
  • For 5 secs (Failed to close flap)
DTC clear time
  • After the system recovers the normal status and then keeps 40 WUC (Warm Up Cycle) times, it is possible to delete the DTC.
