Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Steering angle signal
  1. Open or short in the power harness
  2. Open/Short in the ground harness
  3. Steering angle Sensor
  4. EPS (MDPS) CM
  5. ASP Setting error
Enable conditions
  • If the voltage of battery is normal
Threshold value
  • If the signal of steering angle are out of a normal range
Fail Safe
  • Normal assistance
