General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring voltage range (Circuit open/short check)
  1. Circuit open or short
  2. SS-B solenoid valve
  3. PCM/TCM
Enable Conditions
  • Completely opened or closed
  • Time after TCM turns on > 0.5sec.
  • After change of shift > 0.3sec.
  • 10V < Solenoid supplied power < 16V
Threshold Value
  • 50mA ≤ Feedback current (Circuit short) ≤ 550mA at operating
  • 50mA > Feedback current (Circuit open) at operating
Diagnostic Time
  • More than 0.32sec.
Fail safe
  • Locked into 4th gear
