Power Circuit Inspection

■ Check "Hall sensor" Power Circuit

"IG ON".
Connect "Oil pump Motor" connector.
Measure voltage between "Power" terminal of the sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 4.5 ~ 4.9 V
Is voltage within specifications?
YES
- Go to "Motor Power circuit inspection" procedure below.
NO
- Check for open in harness. Repair as necessary and Go to "VERIFICATION VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

■ Check "Motor Power circuit inspection"

"IG ON".
Disconnect "Oil pump Motor" connector.
Measure voltage between "Power (V)" terminal of the "Oil pump Motor" harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. B+
Is voltage within specifications?
YES
- Go to "GROUND CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Check for open in harness. Repair as necessary and Go to "VERIFICATION VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
