Signal Circuit Inspection

- "IG ON".
- Disconnect "Oil pump Motor" connector and "OPI" connector.
- Measure resistance between each terminal of the "Oil pump Motor" harness connector and "OPI" harness connector
.
Specification: Approx. 0 Ω
- Is resistance within specifications?
YES
- Substitute with a known-good "OPI" or "Oil pump Motor" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "OPI" or "Oil pump Motor" and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Check for Open in harness. Repair as necessary and Go to "VERIFICATION VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
