Signal Circuit Inspection

■ Open Circuit Inspection 

1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect "ATM solenoid valve" connector and PCM/TCM connector.
3. Measure resistance between "Pressure control solenoid valve (LP-VFS)" terminal of ATM solenoid valve connector and PCM TCM connector.

   Specification:  Approx. 0 Ω

4. Is the measured resistance within specification?

   YES 

   • Go to "Circuit short Inspection" procedure below.

   NO 

   • Check circuit open of harness and go to "VERIFICATION VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

■ Short Circuit Inspection 

1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect "ATM solenoid valve connector and PCM/TCM connector.
3. Measure a resistance between "Pressure control solenoid valve (LP-VFS)" terminal of ATM solenoid valve connector and chassis ground.

   Specification:  Infinite

4. Is the measured resistance within specifications?

   YES 

   • Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.

   NO 

   • Check harness for short circuit. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
