General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check
  1. Signal circuit open/short
  2. Power supplied circuit open/short
  3. Output speed sensor
  4. PCM/TCM
Enable Conditions
  • Shift lever position = "D"
  • Vehicle speed > 20km/h(12.4MPH) (by input speed)
  • Output speed > 400rpm
  • Battery voltage > 10V
Threshold Value
  • Output speed 0rpm
Diagnostic Time
  • More than 4sec.
Fail safe
  • Locked into 4th gear
  • Sports mode 2 ↔ 3 ↔ 4 possible
  • Teaching not allow
