General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • No signal
  1. Signal circuit open/short
  2. Power supplied circuit open/short
  3. Input speed sensor
  4. PCM/TCM
Enable Conditions
  • TR switch = "D" range
  • Battery voltage > 10V
  • Vehicle Speed > 20km/h(12.4MPH) (by output speed sensor)
Threshold Value
  • Input speed = 0rpm
Diagnostic Time
  • More than 4sec.
Fail safe
  • Locked into 4th gear
  • Sports mode 2 ↔ 3 ↔ 4 possible
  • Teaching not allow
