Monitor Scantool Data

- Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Engine "ON".
- Select "Current Data" mode and monitor "Oil Temperature Sensor" parameter.
Specification: Increasing Gradually

- Is the Inhibitor switch value changed in specifications?
YES
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact of PCM/TCM and DTC was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Go to "TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION " procedure.
