Shift cable alignment Inspection

■ Check the Alignment of Shift Cable 

1. Move TGS lever to "N" position, and unfasten Shift cable - Manual Control Lever nut and Transmission Range sensor 2 bolts.
2. Set Manual Control Lever in "N" position.
   1. N setting hole (5mm)
   2. Manual Control Lever
   3. Shift Cable & nut (12MM)
   4. Jig (5mm)
   5. Transmission Range Sensor bolt (10mm)
3. Insert "N setting Jig ( 5)" into the "N setting hole"
4. Fasten the Shift cable - Manual Control Lever nut and Transmission Range sensor 2 bolts.

   ⓧ Beware of pull or push between Shift Cable and Manual Control Lever.

5. Remove the Jig from "N setting hole"
   1. Good "N" alignment
   2. Faulty "N" alignment
6. Is the problem solved?

   YES 

   • Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Go to "WIRING INSPECTION " procedure.
