Monitor Scantool Data

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Ignition ON (SSB LED "BLUE") & Vehicle "STOP".
Connect GDS and select "DTC Analysis" mode.
Click "DTC Status" on the menu bar to view DTC information.
Confirm that the "DTC Readiness Flag" indicates "COMPLETED". If not, drive the vehicle within conditions noted in Freeze Frame Data or Enable Conditions.
Read the "DTC Status" parameter.

Is parameter displayed "Present Fault"?
YES
- Go to Next procedure.
NO
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or Control Module's connector or was repaired and Control Module's memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

Ignition ON/Hybrid Ready (Cluster Indicator "READY" On) Vehicle Parked.
Connect GDS and select "Data Analysis" mode.
Select "Current Data" mode and monitor "MCU Ready Flag" parameter.

Is the "MCU Ready Flag" displayed as "OFF"?
YES
- Go to Next procedure.
NO
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or Control Module's connector or was repaired and Control Module's memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
