General Information: General Description

The Motor Control Unit (MCU) supplies AC voltage to both the Drive Motor and the Hybrid Starter Generator (HSG). The Drive Motor provides output torque to the drivetrain and the HSG starts the gasoline Engine. The Drive Motor Position Sensor detects Drive Motor Stator/Rotor position to assist in proper torque output.
