General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Circuit Check/Internal failure of the MCU Check
  1. Drive Motor Phase cable connector.
  2. Open & short in Drive Motor Phase cable.
  3. Insulation condition in Drive Motor.
  4. Faulty MCU (HPCU).
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition ON (SSB LED "BLUE")
  • Aux. Battery voltage is between 9V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • A current flowing in one of IGBTs is over 2800A
  • A voltage of a power supply for power module is under 9V
  • A current wave is sensed as a half-sine wave
  • Deviation between measured motor current value and target current value is over 6.5A
  • A current flowing in one of the 3 phase power cable of inverter has exceeded upper 450A

  • 7 times within 10sec
  • 5-usec
  • 500msec
  • 500msec
  • 3-times within 10sec

MIL On Condition
  • 1 Driving Cycle
Service Lamp On Condition
