General Information: General Description

The Motor Control Unit (MCU) supplies AC voltage to both the Drive Motor and the Hybrid Starter Generator (HSG). The Drive Motor provides output torque to the drivetrain and the HSG starts the gasoline Engine. The Drive Motor Current Sensor is located inside the MCU. The MCU monitors current flowing to and from the Drive Motor.
