General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Resistor/Voltage range check
  1. Short to ground in signal circuit
  2. Faulty Generator (HSG) Temperature sensor.
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition ON
  • Aux. Battery voltage is between 9V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Sensor signal is below 0.15V for 10s.
Diagnosis Time
  • 10s.
DTC
  • 2 Driving Cycle
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycle
Service Lamp On Condition
  • 1 Driving Cycle
