Monitor DTC Status
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Ignition ON (SSB LED "BLUE") & Vehicle "STOP".
- Connect GDS and select "DTC Analysis" mode.
- Click "DTC Status" on the menu bar to view DTC information.
- Confirm that the "DTC Readiness Flag" indicates "COMPLETED". If not, drive the vehicle within conditions noted in Freeze Frame Data or Enable Conditions.
- Read "DTC Status" parameter.
- Is parameter displayed "Present Fault"?
YES
- Substitute with a known-good MCU (HPCU) and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace MCU (HPCU) and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- After Component replacement Motor/HSG Resolver Calibration must be performed using the GDS.
NO
- Control Module's connector was repaired and Control module's memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
