Monitor GDS Data

* In a case that there are any other DTCs except for C1314 at self-diagnosing, first repair the problems related to those DTCs and then view if C1314 happens again.

1. Connect VCI to Data Link Connector.
2. IG KEY ON.
3. Check TPMS sensor's ID out of service data parts.

   ■ Measuring Method: Refer to No. 1 Measurement

   • Connect VCI to Data Link Connector.

4. Position the GDS TPMS as near as possible to the tire.

   (Reading may take 30 ~ 60 seconds depending on the sensors characteristics).

5. Check a sensor's ID out of sensor's information.

   ■ Measuring Method: Refer to No. 2 Measurement

   • TPMS Exeter within 10 cm of the tire's sensor which will of the tire's sensor which will be measured.

6. Is the Fig.1's sensor ID same with the Fig.2's?

   YES 

   • Fault is intermittent. It has been repaired and TPMS receiver module memory is not cleared yet.

     Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Check if a sensor ID is normally enrolled or its type is right. If not, register its ID or replace it with a new one. And then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

     Substitute with a known-good Sensor 1 and check for proper operation.

     If the problem is corrected, replace Sensor 1 and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
