Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check
  1. NVLD Module (Replace NVLD)
Enable Conditions
  • Engine running
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
  • NVLD switch electrical errors are checked every 30 sec while engine is running; during engine off, check runs every 10 min and result of last check is reported to the engine control unit after next engine start.
Threshold Value
  • NVLD switch electrical open circuit
Diagnostic Time
  • 30 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
