Monitor DTC Status

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
NOTE: Evaporative Emissions Systems (EVAP) Leak Tests can be run by GDS.
  1. Install GDS and IG "ON" and then clear DTC.
  2. Select and press "EVAP.LEAKAGE TEST" mode in "Vehicle S/W Management" menu .
  3. Check if the vehicle is under test conditions .
  4. If OK, Start engine and restart Evap.Leakage Test again .
  5. Is the same DTC set after the Evap.leakage test with GDS?

    YES 

    • Go to "Component Inspection" procedure below.

    NO 

    • Repeat "Evap.leakage test" with GDS after cool the vehicle down sufficiently. If the same DTC isn't displayed after the test, it was intermittent fault. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
