Signal Circuit Inspection

■ Check for Short to Power in Signal Circuit 

1. IG KEY 'ON'.
2. Measure voltage between signal terminal of Fuel Level Sender 'A' connector and chassis ground.

   (Under connector connected condition)

   Specification:  0.2 ~ 4.8 V (Fuel Tank no empty condition)

3. Is voltage within specification?

   YES 

   • Go to next procedure.

   NO 

   • Case 0V: Repair open in signal circuit and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

     Case 5V: Repair Short to battery in signal circuit and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
