Item Detecting Condition & Fail Safe Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal Stuck
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. Faulty Fuel Level Sender "A"
Enable Conditions
  • Cumulated Fuel Consumption >30% (~ 20 liter of Tank capacity) -> can be cumulated over more than 1 Driving Cycles
  • No MIL illuminated for relevant DTCs
  • 11< Battery voltage <16
Threshold Value
  • Filtered FL signal change < 5 % after 30% calculated fuel consumption
Diagnostic Time
  • 20 liters fuel consumption
Mil On Condition
  • 2 * 30% Fuel Consumption
