General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Coolant temperature too low for Lambda regulation
  1. Faulty cooling system
  2. Faulty ECT sensor
  3. Poor connection or damaged harness
Enable Conditions
  • Coolant temperature at start < 5°C(50°F)
  • Minimum time(0°C: approx.50sec, 8°C: approx.100sec, 20° C: 200sec., 36°C: 300sec.) after start versus coolant temperature at Start
  • No relevant failure
  • 11V < Battery voltage < 16V
Threshold Value
  • Signal variation > 5°C(9°F)
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.5 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
