  1. Connect GDS to DLC.
  2. Check for TCU DTC(s).
  3. Clear any TCU DTC(s).
  4. If no TCU DTC(s), select the "Vehicle Speed Sensor" parameter.
  5. EV Ready or HEV Ready: Observe vehicle speed while changing vehicle speed
  6. Is the vehicle speed sensor normal?

    YES 

    • Check for any CAN related DTC(s) and then repair or replace as necessary. Clear DTC(s) and confirm no DTC(s) return.
    • This is a intermittent problem caused by poor contact of Control Module.
    • Thoroughly check the looseness, poor connection, bent, corrosion, contamination, deformation or damage of connector.
    • Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO 

    • Check vehicle speed sensor, circuit, or related component. Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
