Signal Circuit Inspection

■ Check Short to Ground in Harness
- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect Ambient sensor and Connect A/C control unit main harness connector.
- Measure resistance between Power terminal of Ambient sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Infinity
- Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Check for short to ground in harness.
- Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
