General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage check
  1. Short in signal circuit (Feedback signal)
  2. Faulty Mode Actuator
  3. Faulty Air conditioner Control Module
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition ON
Threshold Value
  • Mode Actuator sensor signal is at or over 4.9V for 0.3 seconds
Fail-Safe
  • If the Mode actuator is placed at Vent mode right before fail detection, Actuator is operated and fixed to Vent Mode Position.
  • In case of the others, Actuator is moved to DEF mode position
