General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Open circuit monitoring
  1. Open circuit in brake switch line
  2. Faulty brake light switch
  3. Faulty input stage in AHB
Enable Conditions
  • During driving more than 40km/h (24mi/h) and stop 3 times, there is no change of BLS signal. The failure is detected
Fail Safe
  • EBD warning lamp is activated and buzzer is not activated.
  • "Check Brake!" message is displayed on LCD.
