General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Fuel tank sender signal circuit check
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. Fuel tank sender resistance check (It depends on fuel level; Approx. 8Ω (Full) ~ 200Ω (Empty))
Enable Conditions
  • IG ON
Threshold Value
  • Fuel Tank Sender Circuit Open
  • Fuel Tank Sender Circuit Short
Diagnostic Time
  • Immediately
DTC Erasing Time
  • DTC is erased immediately after trouble fixed
