■ Check resistance of fuel level sender

IG OFF.
Disconnect fuel level sender connector.
Measure resistance between both ends of fuel level sender connector with varying a float.
Specification: 8Ω (Full) ~ 200Ω (Empty) depending on fuel level

Are resistances within specifications?
YES
- Go to next procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known - good unit and check for proper operation.
  If the problem is corrected, replace the unit and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
